I recently heard a new term casually tossed out that I think quite adequately decries an approach very much in practice in technology and business these days. The term is PIRATICAL. It invokes visions of Blackbeard in a business suit ruthlessly raiding and robbing unwary companies and individuals of their valuable assets and intellectual property.
It could best describe the prevailing tactics of companies overtly borrowing (stealing) the ideas and product designs of other entities. Examples of these have recently come into notice in countless law suits that will not effectly stem this emerging trend.
