If there is any such a thing as a general trend it must be texting.
Email once innovative and essential, has now receeded into the background of online communications as have many of the other means of communicating with others that we have used over the past decade.
When was the last time you faxed or sent anyone snail mail? The implications of our shift have not yet hit with full impact.
I predict that that soon the 200 year-old U.S. Postal Service after falling out of favor will itself necessarily fall out of existence or be forced to reinvent itself.
At some point in the future even texting itself will be obsoleted by some even newer technology and suffer the same fate.
The big question is what’s next? Whoever can accurately answer that question stands firmly in line to make millions in the transition.
Maybe then we will no longer lose lives of young people getting killed while crossing the street and texting. Or spouces wiped out due to texters while driving.
