Bits & Bytes Weekend of 6.1.12 – 6.3.12

June in all its glory is here and we’re half way through 2012 and closer to the alleged day of doom. There was lots going down this past week. The Coolness Factor’s Bits and Bytes is an attempt to whittle much of it down to one-line news briefs for quick scanners. Side note:  Weather here in the S.F. Bay Area is currently absolutely amazing. This probably means that you should book for a tech conference or  Expo in S.F. this Summer. Also reserving a ticket or two to visit AT&T Park for a Giants game wouldn’t hurt.
