Its that time of the year that the Android World will debut a slew of new phones and related services in an attempt to unseat Apple’s hold on the market.
Pundits will hype stats that state that Android has already won the battle. Others will crow about the features of phones that probably won’t make it to the marketplace till December 2012, if ever.
The following is really just a short list that we absolutely are certain will expand in the next few months in light of new competitive products arriving on the scene real soon (at CES 2012).
iPhone 5 Rumor list:
- It will have a docking unit
- A bigger screen with twice the resolution of the iPhone 4
- It will come in at a lower price than previous iPhones
- 4″ screen despite Jobs’ admonition
- Casing will have flat edges rather than teardrop tapering
- Aluminium casing similar to iPod Touch
- Summer 2012 launch
- A thicker form factor
- Higher resolution HD screen
- LTE compatibility
- Increased screen size from 3.5” to 4”
- A docking accessory may be in the works
- Dynamic voice command enhancements to Siri
- Significant improvements and features to iOS 5 operating system
- Partnerships with Facebook and others
- Advanced integrated iCloud services
- iPhone Pricing reduced to compete with lower priced competitors

None, or at least very few of these rumors have been confirmed and they are simply rumors and as such should be accepted with a huge grain of salt.
