Toward Mobility Perfection

Developers know that there is no perfect platform and therefore no perfect app, just the way that users should know or come to understand that there is no perfect device.

Some developers and manufacturers come close and resort to settling for market success while others achieve domanence and make it return harder for competition to get in or stay in the game.

In this rapidly evolving  and highly profitable ecosystem merely being adequate just won’t do. The real goal is creating the ultimate moble device running on the perfect platform.

Skeptics doubt this goal is even possible to achieve. Optimists with their heads in the cloud place their faith and hope in the journey we are all now on that may eventually lead to a destination we cannot foresee. It is this drive for perfection that makes the movement around smartphones interesting. It is the closest we have come in decades of advanced communications and technological development.

If you are the typical sufferer of EAS – Early Adopter Syndrome you probably have a whole chest of  outdated devices in storage. Mant of there were steps that got us here but they were units that had not reached deep enough. Theone I would nominate as the game changer that got us here was the historically overlooked and seriously undervalued Apple Newton. It wasn’t perfect, far from it but it led to the dawn of the current mobility movement.
