There are some things other than death, taxes and change that are just inevitable and are flat-out bound to happen hell or high-water (?).
In the world of technology we see some of them dimly appearing on the horizon. A few others are a little more firmly in our face. Either way anticipating these is absolutely the right key to positioning oneself or company for future success into coming times.
We are surprised that certain ones are taking so long. Some can and will be delayed, others are simply a matter of time and circumstance and will happen rain or shine, good times or bad.

When Americans hear that broadband connectivity and access is much more robust, faster, better and, yes, cheaper in other less developed countries we wonder what it will take to get the best here and now. We also wonder what the heck happened to put us so far behind the curve. Lastly, what have been and are the adverse effects to us and our businesses?
Consider this, nationalism is steadily becoming a key factor in development and manufacturing. Countries that have greater access can more easily gauge and anticipate new needs, innovations and related products.
